Quiet Sunday dinner...
In autumn and winter the best meals are the ones that you start making in the morning and that cook for hours either in the oven or the stove. The smell makes you hungry and keeps in any visitor who happens to stop by.

Do you have warm clothes? Will you be able to feel comfortable walking outside without having to rush to the métro to be away from the wind, the rain, the snow or the cold?

Another interesting thing about the métro, there is no heating in there, neither air conditioning...

I hope that you will be more than three next Sunday... Ulli should be back with some memories from her trip to la Gaspésie to share with you?

Have a nice week!

Hmmm... casseroles particularly (perhaps you could show me how to cook that dish you gave me when I arrived back in September...?)

My clothes are still keeping me warm. However, with the proceeds from my first paycheque I expect we will make a few more trips to the thrift stores to hunt out a parka. A few possibilities so far, but it's still mild and I can afford to wait another week or so.

Sunday dinner with just three was a nice change. I wouldn't always want it this way - but I do like the way that our informal meal is always a laid back but friendly affair.

A place will be set for Uli :)
